Vendor Terms & Agreement

By submitting an application to participate as a vendor or event entertainer at First Friday, Third Sunday, or other related events, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. This agreement ensures a smooth and successful experience for all vendors, entertainers, attendees, and event organizers.

1. Vendor & Entertainer Eligibility & Approval

  • All applicants must submit a complete application and receive approval before participating.
  • The event organizers reserve the right to accept or deny any application based on event curation, space availability, and alignment with our vision.
  • Only approved vendors and entertainers may set up a booth or perform during the event.

2. Booth & Performance Setup Guidelines

  • Vendors:
    • You will be assigned a 10×10 space and are responsible for providing your own tables, tents, and display materials.
    • Tents must be weighted down for safety.
    • Vendors must set up and break down their booths within the designated timeframes and maintain a clean area.
  • Entertainers:
    • Entertainers must select an option from the provided list (e.g., Live Painting Artist, Live Band, DJ, Comedian, Magician, Dancers, Fire Dancers, LED Dancers).
    • You are required to supply any necessary equipment unless otherwise arranged with the event organizers.
    • All performances must adhere to the scheduled times and event guidelines.

3. Permitted & Prohibited Items/Services

  • Permitted for Vendors:
    • Sale of handmade crafts, artwork, jewelry, metaphysical tools, crystals, books, clothing, and wellness products.
    • Spiritual and healing services such as tarot readings, energy healing, sound therapy, etc.
    • Musical instruments and sound healing tools.
  • Prohibited for Vendors:
    • Sale of food or beverages (food vendors are only permitted under specific conditions at Third Sunday).
    • Any illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items, or products/services violating local laws.
  • Permitted for Entertainers:
    • All listed entertainment services including live painting, live bands, DJs, comedians, magicians, dancers, fire dancers, and LED dancers.
  • Prohibited for Entertainers:
    • Any performance or act that violates local laws, event guidelines, or disrupts the experience of other vendors and attendees.

4. Fees, Payment & Refund Policy

  • All required fees must be paid in full to secure your spot.
  • Fees are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation by the organizers.
  • Failure to attend without prior notice may result in forfeiture of fees with no refunds or credits provided.

5. Liability & Safety

  • The event organizers, Humankind Center, and affiliated businesses are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
  • Vendors and entertainers participate at their own risk and must ensure the safety of their setups and performances.
  • All participants must follow the safety protocols and instructions provided by event organizers.

6. Weather & Cancellation Policy

  • The event will operate on a rain-or-shine basis unless extreme weather conditions necessitate cancellation.
  • Organizers will notify all participants as soon as possible in the event of cancellation or schedule changes.
  • No refunds will be issued due to weather-related cancellations unless explicitly stated.

7. Agreement & Compliance

By submitting your application and/or performing as a vendor or entertainer, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
